Picture update

So, I'll start with the video Mommy caught of me yesterday. I first laughed around July 4, but now that I am giggling more, she was able to catch me with the camera. I don't know if you can tell, but my shirt is a little dirty. I was playing with paint at daycare!

These next set of pictures are from our pool party on 8/23/2009 with Ms. Anita, Ms. Kristen, Brooke, and Greg. Before heading to the pool, Brooke and I played together and had a small photo shoot.



On 8/16/2009, we met Ms. Alicia and Ms. Melissa for brunch before I went to my first jewelry show. Here I am with Ms. Alicia and Ms. Melissa. Ms. Alicia gave me a really pretty dress.



On 8/15/2009, I met Ms. Emily. I wore one of my Yankees outfits for her. She loved it!



On 8/13/2009, I tried cereal for the first time. I was more excited before the spoon went into my mouth - can you tell?



And, here I am chilling in my carseat with my sunglasses. Behind my flower blanket is my Soggy Dollar shirt. I wonder when Mommy and Daddy are going to take me to the Virgin Islands!!??!!

Catch up

I know I haven't posted in a while...it has been fairly status quo though. I continue to do well at daycare. We have had a bit of turnover in the teachers though. That concerns Mommy and Daddy a little. I'm having fun though. Today was jersey day, so I wore one of my Yankees outfits. Actually, I wore the same outfit that I wore when Ms. Emily came to visit me last weekend. You should see all her neat knitting! She has a Harry Potter knitting book! The other big thing from last weekend was that I attended my first gem and jewelry show. There were lots of pretty sparklies to look at. Unfortunately, no one had anything that would fit me...

By the way, I have rolled over a couple of times onto my back from my belly, but not yet with any consistency.

I think Daddy has some pictures of me around here somewhere. I will have to ask...

Doctor's Visit

I had my 4 month doctor appointment today. They shot me once in each leg and gave me an oral shot of rotavirus - YUCK! OUCH! did okay though. I only cried for a couple of seconds before Mommy plugged me in to my pacifier. Check out my fancy bandaids in the picture! I You are probably wondering about my stats though, huh? I am in the 50th percentile for weight and height. I am 24" long and I weigh 13.5 lbs. Why does Mommy keep asking why I am so short? Daddy says I will catch up.

I have not updated the blog in a little over a week. I went to daycare each day and continued to receive good marks. I ride in a buggy, listen to music, have tummy time, and do other fun things at daycare.

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy left me with Grandma while they went on a date. They went to see The Color Purple at the Kennedy Center and then went to dinner at Old Ebbit Grill. Apparently some lady named Fantasia had the lead role of Celie.

On Sunday, I went to my buddy Walker's 2nd bday party. I had a lot of fun. There was a boy named Isaac at the party. He was born about 16 hours after me. There was another boy named Liam who was only 2 weeks old. He was tiny. Mommy said I used to be even smaller than he was, but I don't know if I believe her. I don't remember being that small :)

Rolled over!!!

I ROLLED OVER!!! I rolled over on to my belly last night. I rolled to my right side to see Mommy when I was playing before bed. I was so excited that I got a little confused and forgot how to pull my arm out.

As a result, Mommy and Daddy said no more free time on the diaper changing pad to stare at the celing fan.

Pool time!

Today, I went fully in the pool for the first time! I went to the Ms. Marian and Dr. Roy's pool with Mommy, Daddy, Anna, and Walker. Since I was not interested in napping at first, I went swimming until Adult Swim. I have to post the picture of my friend Anna diving for pennies. She did great!

Daycare

I finally started day care! I started on Monday (and had to get up really early!) I was greeted by Ms. Rosario, one of my teachers! On my first day (and 3 out the 5 of the first week), I received a check by happy/cheerful on my report. The teachers told Mommy that they just love talking to me and love all the smiles I give them. Daddy drops me off in the mornings and Mommy picks me up. On the first day, Mommy and Daddy dropped me off. In the picture to the left, I am in my crib. I have the extra neat TinyLove mobile that Ms. Suzanne gave me. Some of my new friends' parents really like it and asked where I got it. On Friday, my crib was moved. There is a new friend starting on Monday who is a month younger than I am!
