Presents!

Santa came!!! Here is what the tree and presents looked like when I came downstairs.

I bee-lined for the kitchen and started making breakfast.


Next, I checked out the other unwrapped presents and went through my stocking. Santa brought me puffs. I think the puffs helped me maintain energy while opening presents.


While Mommy and Daddy ate breakfast, I watched my new Lily and Tad video. Then, it was time to ride my new bike that Nana got for me. Daddy forgot to put the peddles on.


After coming in, I played with my kitchen some more before Grandma Lyn, Pop Pop, and Uncle Andy got to our house.


Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop brought a couple more presents for me. I really like my snowsuit and Cinderella doll.


After nap time, we took showers and got all dressed up before heading over to Grandma Lyn's house. Mommy snook some purple chair pictures in.


We visited Ms. Marian and Dr. Roy and family on the way to Grandma Lyn's to pick up Uncle Andy. We had actually been at their house the day before to exchange presents. Anna and Walker gave me a beautiful tutu and fur vest (among other pretty clothes). Walker and Anna had gotten a Kinect system. I had fun popping bubbles.


When we got to Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop's house, I could see that Santa had been there too. When Uncle Eric, Hannah, and Ethan arrived, we opened presents. It was a little like chaos, but a lot of fun. I like playing Santa and handing out the presents almost as much as I like opening them.


On the day after Christmas, Uncle Eric, Uncle Andy, Grandma Lyn, Ethan, and Hannah came over for lunch and to play. I had a ball playing on the trampoline with Ethan and with dolls with Hannah. After my nap, we met up with all of my family (in town) and Ms. Tami and Thomas at Peking Gourmet. Daddy brought me mac and cheese. I got to open more presents! I then proceeded to switch between watching Little Mermaid and playing with the cool princess and leap pad toys Thomas gave me.


Wow! Christmas has been a lot of fun.

Up Until Christmas...

December has been a really fun month! Santa came! Let's get back to the beginning though. We started the month off by decorating our Christmas tree. I tried to put all the ornaments on one branch. Daddy moved them around.


I spent the night at Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop's house early in the month, because Mommy and Daddy ran in the Hot Chocolate 5K. They didn't even bring me chocolate back. I did get some at packet pick-up though.


On December 5, we went to the National Zoo for a Zoolights. It was a little chilly, but there were lots of pretty lights and a small train - in addition to the animals.


It took multiple visits (and especially those with other kids I know), but I warmed up to the big man in red. Here are pictures from the two Tuesdays that Santa came to Red, Hot, and Blue. My friend Kayla from the Little Gym was there too.


Given our pretty tree and my cute outfits, Mommy and Daddy took lots of pictures of me by the tree. I am really good at saying "cheese" now.


Grandma Liz and Grandpa Joe came up the weekend of Daddy's birthday. I had a lot of fun playing with Grandma Liz.


We got all dressed up to ride the Santa train. We had to take more photos around the tree before we left the house though.


This was my third trip on the Santa train. It is a lot of fun. Santa and Mrs. Clause come by along with carolers. Plus, you get to ride the train. This time, Mommy and I went with Grandma Liz, Grandma Lyn, Pop Pop, Ms. Marian, Dr. Roy, Anna, Walker, and Ms. Marian's cousins.


I got to open Christmas presents from Grandma Liz and Grandpa Joe since they were here with me. Grandma Liz made me a beautiful hand-smocked dress. It paired nicely with my new pink boots.


For dinner, we went to Dixie Bones. There must have been sugar in my grilled cheese, because I had a lot of fun acting crazy afterwards.


My buddy James is a big brother. His little brother Ben was born right after Thanksgiving. We went to visit him. I was more interested in James' toys though.


I stayed up late one night to go tell Santa what I wanted for Christmas. I gave him a big hug and told him I want colors. Santa later brought me two big packs of bath colors!


Daddy always made cookies with Nana growing up. This year, Mommy, Daddy, and I all got into the cookie making and baking. It is similar to playing with playdoh, but you get to eat the cookies. I really like playing with flour.


My Uncle Mark and Aunt Loretta sent me gifts to open on the second day of Hannukah. I really love my menorah. I had to add all the candles though. Mommy and Daddy liked singing with the Rabbi, but it really just confused me. Mommy and Daddy let me open Uncle Philip and Aunt Brenda's gifts too. They gave me a beautiful Minnie Mouse night gown and crayons and coloring books. They must know me really well.


The week before Christmas, we finally got a new car. We had been looking since June. I like it.


On Christmas Eve, we went to the lessons and carols service at church. I saw one of the pastor's daughters twirling during a song, so I had to too. I danced for the rest of the songs. Then, we got to play with candles! It was fun.


After church, we met up with Grandma Lyn, Pop Pop, and Uncle Andy at Mike's. We had to wait a little, so Uncle Andy took me to the bar for some chocolate milk.
