Happy Valentine's Day

I just had to post today about two special events. The first one is that when I first tried to give Mommy a kiss a long time ago, she thought I was going to bite off her nose and ran away. Ever since then, I have really not been a kisser even though I love hugs. A month or so ago, I started giving kisses to my stuffed animals. This past Friday, February 11, I gave a kiss to Mommy. On Saturday, I gave a kiss to Daddy. I now give regular kisses to Mommy and Daddy. Since it is Valentine's day and I know you are getting your hopes up, I do have to let you know I only kiss Mommy, Daddy, and my stuffed animals and dolls. I am not ready to kiss any other family members yet.

If event one wasn't exciting enough for you, wait until you read number two. I went number one on the potty! That's right I used the big girl potty. Mommy and Daddy have been letting me sit on the closed potty to brush my teeth for the last month or so. Occasionally in the morning or before bath, I sit on the potty without my diaper. Tonight, before bath, I went pee pee on the potty!

Wow! What a day! Time for bed! Love to all!

Hello February

I started off February with my Daddy going to California for a few days. I really missed him. Luckily, Mommy and Daddy's smartphones help us communicate and give each other updates. Daddy sent us pictures from the plane and Mommy sent him pictures of me in the bath and getting ready for school.













Saturday was a rainy day. I still had fun though for two reasons. One, Daddy came home!!! And two, we went to Occoquan to walk around and paint pottery.













Mommy and I did a lot of baking this weekend. She brought my stool over so I could stand and see. I really like putting on my mittens so I can be like Mommy with her gloves when she washes dishes. And, of course I need my hat when I wear my gloves. (Daddy asked me to note that Mommy doesn't wash dishes or bake very often.)

Birthday Parties & More

We went to Raquel's birthday party Saturday afternoon. It was a little crazier than I am used to. In addition to celebrating Raquel's 2nd birthday, we were also celebrating Raquel's sister's 5th birthday. I had fun though. I played with Raquel and Audrey.













It has been a long time, but we finally took another purple chair picture. Don't I look studious? Mommy wanted to get in some of the pictures this time.













Mommy went to a baby shower and Daddy put me to work.

Snow!

We received a lot of heavy snow on January 26. I was lucy, because Mommy and Daddy both made it home uneventfully. We have some friends that took over 8 hours to drive home that day. On the next day, Daddy went out and shoveled and Mommy walked me around for a little while. We were headed back inside when Daddy came out to play.
