Bye Bye Mommy's Car

I don't really understand what happened, but here is a picture of Mommy's car. Mommy is okay. She is really sore. Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop came to pick me up from daycare and carry me around for a while.

Mommy said she was on her way to work when she was rear-ended. She was stopped in traffic when a car going full highway speed tried, but missed avoiding her. Her car spun into the next lane of traffic before the car that hit her hit the car in front of her. I am very happy that she is okay and still able to take care of me.

Although I miss Daddy, I know he loves me. He made me videos I watch every night. I get to see Daddy and have a book read to me! Mommy took Daddy to the airport while I was at school.

With Daddy out of town, I get to spend more time with Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop. They know all of my favorite foods!

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

For Mommy's birthday, we partied. We partied at the National Harbor. The National Children's Museum Launch Zone was celebrating its second birthday.









We even had time to play on the beach!













Then, we went to James' 2nd Birthday Party! He had just gotten a new sand and water table. His Mommy and Daddy put sand in it.

After James' party, which we left early, we ran home and changed clothes really fast and left to meet Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop for dinner at L'Hermitage in Occoquan. It was really yummy.









After dinner, we went home for chocolate cake!











I really liked the birthday hat I made in the National Harbor. Here I am on May day.










In the afternoon, he packed his bags. He also tried on some of his new camo. Daddy is now in the Middle East. I hope he comes back soon.

Princesses

I enjoyed seeing the horses on tv on April 29. Mommy said something about a wedding and Catherine becoming a princess. I put my sippy cup in my tea cup to celebrate.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We got up early and went to church. We went to the early service (where there is no toddler nursery) and I got really excited and talkative during the sermon. Mommy then took me out of the sermon but into a wonderful place I had never really appreciated. She called it a library. It had lots and lots of books! After church, I was disappointed not to see the donkeys that they had the week before for Palm Sunday. I got over it though when I found out the Easter Bunny visited my house while I was at church.













Mommy made a Peep Trifle for dessert!









After nap time, we went over to Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop's house. I immediately found some Easter eggs and put them in my basket. Not long after we got there, Dr. Roy, Ms. Marian, Anna, and Walker arrived. Anna, Walker, and I hada lot of fun finding the Easter eggs. Anna and Walker even put some of the eggs they found down for me to find. I really liked the eggs and the jelly beans inside of them.













It was a really nice day, so we also played in the sprinkler. By "we," I mean Anna and Walker. I only had to get wet once to realize that was not for me. After the sprinklers, Dr. Roy brought over the riding toys. I only got to ride for a little while, because my car ran out of battery. Daddy pulled me in the wagon though.













Wow! What a full day!

Circus!!!

On April 23, we went to the circus. Wow! What a show! I really liked the elephants and chocolate shake. Ms. Kristen, Mr. Greg, Brooke, and Kately came up from Charlottesville to go with us. And, Grandma Lyn, Dr. Roy, Ms. Marian, Anna, and Walker also joined us. I have lots of pictures from the circus. I will try not to post too many here. Coming out of dinner after the circus, someone said we seemed like clowns getting out of a car. I got the reference since I had just seen it. I don't think he was saying we looked like clowns :)
