Bouncing, Music, & Playdoh

We had a fabulous time the weekend of April 23. It was as full as my birthday weekend! Nana and Grandpa John came to visit. They gave me a set of bells and a doll for my birthday. I really like making joyful noise with the bells.














I also like playing other musical instruments with Mommy and Daddy.













My buddy James gave me playdoh for my birthday. Nana, Mommy and I checked it out. It is great!! Grandpa John likes to watch videos and listen to music on his computer.

2 Year Check Up

I went to the Pediatrician's office this morning. They confirmed I am a runt. I am in the 17th percentile for height (at 32.5") and 11th percentile for weight (at 23.5 lb). They said I am doing great though and that my runtiness is not a concern. They said I am developing normally. They even said I can have more chocolate milk. Okay, well really they said sneaking in extra fat won't hurt me. The nurse practitioner said I was doing great. I even sat on my own for my examination. The appointment was great until the end of the appointment when they gave me two shots.

Easter's coming...

Happy Passover! That said, this post is about Easter coming. On Sunday of my birthday weekend, I got up and Mommy, Daddy, and I joined Grandma Lyn, Pop Pop, Uncle Eric, Serina, Hannah, Ethan, Gary and Patty for breakfast. After breakfast, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to church. It was Palm Sunday and Daddy's church has a donkey processional. They also had bunnies!









After nap time, we went to Ms. Marian and Dr. Roy's neighborhood for an easter egg hunt. We were a little late, but Anna and Walker hid some eggs for me to find when I got there.

My 2nd 2nd Birthday Party

The day after my birthday was very rainy. We stayed in in the morning. Grandpa Joe and Grandma Liz gave me more legos! I love legos.









While we played and watched Tangled, Mommy finished my monkey cake.

I was going to have a small party at a park (a monkey party by the monkey bars), but well, it would not have been fun with that weather. Fortunately, Mommy was able to reserve the clubhouse.













I had a lot of fun at the party with coloring, bubbles, baloons, and a parachute. We ate pizza and cake.

I'm 2!!!

I had a great birthday. It started out with Mommy and Daddy singing to me when I woke up. Then, in the morning at daycare, we had a creature feature with turtles and snakes and more. In the afternoon, Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa Joe, and Grandma Liz joined me at school for my first second birthday party :) We had cupcakes along with our bagels and everyone sang to me. Although it looks like Mommy is stealing my cupcake in the picture, she is really just showing me that I should eat it. I actually tried it. It was pretty good.









After snack time, it was outside time. We stayed for a little while since it was so nice (and because Mommy had never seen us at outside time).









Grandma Lyn and Pop Pop joined us for dinner. We had macaroni and cheese and hot dogs - my favorites. Grandma Lyn brought my present, a bouncy of my own!









I thought Grandma Lyn was going to get me an iPad. She just let me play with hers. We did download a couple of games for me though.









Since I had already had cupcakes and I am not a big cake person anyway, we had chocolate ice cream for dessert. Mommy put my candle in the ice cream. It only took two tries to blow it out.









What a great day!
