Daddy teases me because I am not consistent in my blog updates. I am busy though - running around, coloring, climbing - and I have to go to bed at 8PM every night.

It has been another busy month. We have been to many festivals - Octoberfest, Rennaisance Fest, Clifton Days, Pohick Country Fair, Mount Vernon Harvest Festival....

Mr. Rob, Ms. Caroline, and William came all the way from Belgium to visit me. William brought his Aunt Stephanie, too. We celebrated Caroline's birthday. We had fun, but I don't understand why Mommy wanted to pick up William instead of me. And, I really didn't understand why William got to play in the bath tub with the water running after I chose to get out of the tub.

Technically the Pohick Country Fair was over by the time we got there. (I took a long nap.) I was still able to enjoy the music...and my sunglasses through.

These pictures are from Saturday morning spent in Old Town Alexandria. We went to the park and the farmer's market...

I really enjoyed Octoberest. I loved dancing to the Oompa band. I also enjoyed coloring the really big coloring wall. (So did Mommy...)

We went to Durham to celebrate my cousin Hannah's birthday. She turned 12, which is so old. she had a great cake decorating party. I had a great time at the party being one of the girls. (Daddy, Pop Pop, and Ethan went to the Duke Homecoming football game. The game was apparently less than interesting.)

I have reached the point where I am shy around new people for 15-20 minutes. I will open up though. Here is a long video, but it shows off my talking.

In Durham, I visited Sydney, Chase, and Reece. The twins have grown so much since I last saw them. They are starting to crawl!

I was able to stay and watch some of Ethan's flag football game. We just missed seeing his interception and touch down. We were not on time because it was a little wet.

Grandpa Joe and Grandma Liz came to visit for Grandpa Joe's birthday. We went out to a hibachi restaurant. Mommy said I screamed last time we were there. I was entranced this time though. Grandma Lyn, Pop Pop, Ms. Marian, Dr. Roy, Ms. Chantal, Anna, and Walker came for the party also.

It is football season! Sometimes, I get to watch the games with Daddy.

Here I am visiting with the sheep at Mount Vernon. We went to celebrate the Harvest Festival. The baby hogs were very cute!

We had school pictures in mid September. I am still waiting to get the pictures back from the photographer. Mommy is worried though. I didn't like the photographer.

9/11 & 9/12

Look at this! Two blog updates in one week. It took too long to do a month's worth of updates. I have to be better at updating more frequently.

I had a great weekend. I started by going to Clemyjontri park in McLean, VA. It is a gigantic, free park that is accessible to all kids. The sun had been shining so the slides were a little warm, but there was lots to climb on. And, I actually enjoyed riding on the carousel.























After the park, we went to another park. We went to Fort Ward park for the church choir picnic. I enjoyed playing badminton.











Finally, as I am almost 17 months old, I had to take my purple chair picture. Mommy says I am too cute.
