Labor Day weekend was really great. On Labor Day itself, I went with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Lyn, and Pop Pop to a Nats game. The Nats really beat up on the Mets. We had great tickets, which Mommy received as a thank you from her boss at work.
The Sunday of Labor Day weekend was fairly low key. We played at the playground in our neighborhood. It was a great hair day!
The Saturday of Labor Day weekend, we went to the Virginia Highland games. It was a beautiful day to be outside.
On September 2, Mommy and Daddy left me with a babysitter so they could go off and act like parrot heads. Here is Daddy with his fins up.
Bath time is one of the most fun parts of the day. It is also a great place to read a book.
I am doing a great job eating on my own. In fact, I often will not eat if you try to help me. This results in my face looking like this.

In August, I worked on swimming at Pirates Cove and perfecting my monkey-like climbing skills. We went to multiple playgrounds. I found a great playground in Newington (near daycare) that is just made for people my size. Well, maybe it is made for bigger kids, too, but I can climb up and go down the big slides also. Grandpa Joe and Grandma Liz came to visit and work on Daddy's stairs in the backyard. We went out for Ethiopian food. I didn't actually try any, but everyone else said it was really good. Grandpa Joe was stationed in Ethiopia during the Vietnam War.
The day after our Ethiopian dinner, we went to play at the Newington playground.
The end of August was trying for our family. At one point, we were all on antibiotics. I admit it. I got Mommy and Daddy sick. These pictures are from my visit to the doctor. They are so cute and funny and so sad all at the same time.
My Great Uncle Philip and my Great Aunt Brenda renewed their wedding vows on August 21. The wedding was at a winery outside of Richmond. Pop Pop was the best man. In one of the pictures, you can see me with my first cousins (Ethan and Hannah) and my second cousins (Jack and Kelly).

Who says I can't go out to fancy restaurants? Here I am eating the yummy ice cream at Trummer's on Main in Clifton. We also played on the caboose outside of the restaurant while we waited for some of Mommy's GMU friends to arrive.

Grandma Lyn bought me a new chair. It is a great little rocker. Mommy bought me a great Halloween placemat. I like to look through the ghost part of it.

Mommy finally put together my new tent. The tunnel was too scary for me to climb through, but it was funny to see Mommy in it.

At the end of July, Grandma, Mommy, and I went up to Saratoga. I saw a lot of big dogs my Mommy called horses. I wore a dress and my hat to the races. We had a lot of fun. (Daddy was at the National Boyscout Jamboree.)
